What a good safari itinerary includes
Every safari itinerary you send a client should answer, day by day, where they are, what they’re doing, where they sleep and what’s included. This template captures each of those:
- Trip summary — title, dates, number of travellers, and total price
- Day-by-day plan — date, location/park, and the day’s route
- Accommodation — lodge or camp name, room type, and number of nights (bed-nights)
- Activities — game drives, walks, transfers and any extras for the day
- Meals — which meals are included that day (B/L/D)
- Inclusions & exclusions — what the price covers, and what it doesn’t
- Pricing — per-person and total, in KES or USD
- Terms — deposit, balance due date, and cancellation policy
The day-by-day structure
Repeat this block for each day of the safari:
- Day number and date
- Location / national park or reserve
- Morning: activity (e.g. game drive in the Maasai Mara)
- Afternoon: activity or transfer
- Accommodation: lodge/camp name — room type — nights
- Meals included: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
- Notes: distances, drive times, special requests
